While the OP has settled on BUD (and I look forwrad to his after report ), I too want to add a plug for Cologne (or Koln). The city is very compact, has a nice gay scene (though heavy on the leather side), and at this time of the year has fabulous night markets (food, gluwien, and kitsch). My Hub and I went last year and had a great time. We combined with a few days in AMS (one of our favorite cites) for an all round very gay time!
