I too had a severely damaged Tumi (30" roller). I didn't even try with LH as there is no Tumi dealer anymore In Israel and no eqivelent replacement.

I travel to UK and they repaired it there.

In my opinion Tumi is overprice and overrated. The bad didn't hold up at all and I'll never buy another one. Give me Travel Pro anytime.
