Is CO changing codeshare CO tickets on NW metal EQM/Segments?

So, I'm looking at those wonderful new charts on the Continental website that show exactly what fare classes equal as far as miles go...

http://www.continental.com/onepass/e...12E4FA40B19E53

I clicked on the Northwest one and saw a familiar looking chart, just what I expected... Then I scrolled down and saw:

Continental Airlines (CO) flight number on ticket for Northwest Airlines-operated flights (Effective for travel February 9, 2004 and beyond)

This shows that 100% EQM and 1 segment is no longer earned if you fly a Continental ticketed segment on NW metal in Q, I, S, W, T, X, or L class.

Note: It doesn't say there is an exception for bookings on Continental.com

Then I noticed it seems that CO has changed their "Offer Extended... Earn Full Elite Miles in 2004" page:

http://www.continental.com/onepass/n...1332C0CD68AFD6

It says:

You can continue to earn 100% Elite mileage and full segments/points for Q, I, S, W, T, X and L Economy Class fares (or equivalent fare classes) for travel on Continental Airlines, Continental Express and Continental Connection flights by booking your tickets at continental.com for flights between January 1, 2004 and December 31, 2004.

Does this mean, even if I buy a Continental Codeshare ticket in one of these classes I don't get 100% EQM and 1 Segment? This seems to be a policy change -- and yet no announcement?

And I'm also noticing when I get a flight on continental.com that has a codeshare on NW metal, instead of it saying 1096/100% it just says 1096.

Please discuss!
