good question-
is the six hours arrival time to departure?
given that you may want to try to clear security at least an hour before flight time (depends on terminal and time of day)- and the security line can be an hour long-that eats up part of the time
and- if you are a foreigner, and need to clear customs and immigration on arrival- could be 20 minutes, could be 2 hours
(did i tell you about the 2-hour waits to unload bags from AA all last winter??)
but taking a cab to a local mall just doesn't seem a good idea, either- like sitting on the Belt for 45 minutes trying to get to JFK from KP??
any other ideas?????
or is the six hours free-and-clear time allowing for arrival and departure??
