I just called AA and found that there is upgrade inventory available for my flight to Thailand in January! ^ BUT - they can't process the upgrade until the original coach ticket has been "ticketed" - and was told to call back when my res has been "ticketed" So I paid through the website and "My reservations" is now showing the res as "on request" - and of course I am on edge waiting... checking my email constantly ... and hitting refresh ...

Does anyone have any experience in how long it takes for the ticket to "ticket" on aa.com for int'l flights? When I've booked domestic flights it's almost instantaneous. (And could it also be because the second leg is an AA codeshare with JL that it's taking longer?)
