If connecting to a Low cost carrier ( ie Easyjet or Ryanair) you would not be able to get your bags tagged through ( ie you would need to collect your bags and go to check in).

In addition they have very strict check in dealdines ( ie if you are not xchecked in at T-30 for example you will not be getting on board) . If that is the case I would allow more time. ( say 2-3 hours)
