I took a flight last Saturday. And on my last flight, I made my 1P status :-: :-: :-:

It was a shuttle flight. IAD-EWR. Less than an hour. I was not supposed to be on the flight, but I arrived at the airport earlier. So I got onto an ealier flight with a same-day standby.

I was in a good mood because (1)I could get home earlier and (2)I made my 1P status on the flight. The FA was a female. She provides standard service. Drink, announcement, garbage collection. She did not go out of her way to do anything extra nice but she was pleasant. I also felt a little bad for her because she had to serve on a UX flight with only one class and I believe she does not get a lot of compliments. So I gave her one of my Kudo's forms from United. When I left the plane, I gave it to her and told her "I enjoyed the flight". She took it and said "oh... okay" I guess she probably never expects anyone to gave her the form.

So, people, should I be discouraged from doing this??? What is your take on it?
