I believe it depends on the spirit of the offer to check EF. If a subscriber is using EF for another person in order to circumvent the costs associated with the service, it is wrong. If a subscriber is merely doing a one-time favor for a friend, I see no probelm with it.

Let me give you a metaphor:

You might have a problem with someone hooking themselves into your wireless internet system for free if they do it all the time to avoid paying the associated fees . On the other hand, you would probably have no problem with a friend hooking up to your internet because he needs one-time access.
