I have to say this, I will disagree with the OP.. If I want to give information for Friends, Family and co-workers I will and will continue to do so.. I don't help those I don't know or the so cold call requests, but If I know you I'll definitely help..

Talking about doing the right thing... well to me helping out someone is doing the right thing.. especially when ther is No violation of TOS.

To each his/her own I guess
