When you say ‘in the area’ which area did you have in mind?
Marunouchi/Ginza, or anywhere else in Tokyo? If you mean ‘anywhere else’ then which sort of area where you aiming to head for on the Friday night?
I know a few places for the price you mentioned, but there’s no point saving money on the hotel if you’re going to be stiffed with a huge taxi bill.

A couple of the hotels have rooms for around the 12,000 yen threshold, but all the others are below the 10,000yen price you wanted.
