I just received what presumably will be my last Platinum elite package. It is a modest package indeed. Having first qualified for platinum in 1998, I am trying to remember what was the "richest" packet that I received.
It seems as though it was the year that included several metal tags and many desirable coupons-perhaps 2001 for efforts in 2000?
I know it has been a steady decline, which makes the verbal disjunction more irritating.
Any thoughts on the high point in yearly recognition for flying Continental?
