The article stated that the FA’s were going because of the reduced schedule.If this is the case and I have no reason to doubt it is, then it makes sense not to have FA’s for flights/routs that NW no longer fly’s. @:-)
FA/seat ratio: For aircraft with more than 19 seats, the FAA requires that there be a minimum of 1 FA for every 50 seats or fraction thereof. IOW, the CRJ 44 seater requires 1 FA (more than 19 but less than 50 seats), but the Avro requires 2.
