Las Vegas
I arrived late in Las Vegas one Friday night and they had overbooked the suite I reserved at the MGM Grand. The clerk apologized, got on the phone with a manager and then turned around smiling and said "I think you will like this. We have a Terrace Suite for you which I think is the best suite in the hotel."
It was a 1300 sq ft, 2 story suite with vaulted ceiling but the big plus was the terrace; an 800 sq ft patio with hot tub (or cold in Vegas) with 180 degree view. We spent most of the next few days there. It really cost them some casino time from me.
