what was the date of this response? i wonder when all of the sudden they changed their policy with regards to fare classes that qualify for elite status.
i find it pretty pathetic that this is not made clear on the website, mostly because they indeed indicated which fare classes qualified for only 50% EQM on NW and DL. given that most of us flying KLM as OnePass members are likely doing so on transcontinental routes with many miles to be earned, i can only imagine how frustrating it would be to see that you only get 50% credit.
one non-related observation by the way--have any of you noticed that when you search for international reward availability on co.com to cities that both CO and its codeshares service (i.e. London, Tokyo, Paris, etc.) that you no longer have the option of selecting a non-CO flight? i searched for award flights to london, for instance, and they used to allow you to book virgin flights into heathrow, but now the only flight options are to LGW on CO metal. is this just me or have you guys noticed as well?
