Here is the email I sent to CO regarding KLM and Alaska EQM's.

-----Original Message-----
I have not found the answers to these questions on the CO website.

If one flies on partner carriers Alaska Airlines and KLM, how many Elite
Qualifying Miles does one earn for 1) CO coded flights operated by those
carriers and 2) for flights with Alaskan or KLM flight numbers. Does
fare class come into play?

By the way, the complexity and lack of clarity since implementing the
changes in EQM earning requirements in 2004 has been disheartening. I am
severely disappointed in the direction Continental and OnePass have been
going in the past year or so. I am seriously considering switching to NW
WorldPerks as an alternative.

Here is the response from OnePass. Does anybody at OnePass know what they're doing?

"Thank you for contacting the OnePass Service Center and sharing your thoughts with us. Your comments, whether complimentary or critical, are always welcome. I have forwarded your comments to our management team to assist them as we continue to make improvements to our product.

Making changes to the Program for 2004 provided us with an opportunity to align the benefits with the fare that was purchased. We still award full mileage credit for members on leisure fares and currently our miles do not expire.

Members will continue to earn full credit towards Elite status for discounted fares by booking on www.continental.com throughout 2004.

I urge you to compare Elite programs before switching to another airline. Northwest gives full elite credit for only the highest fares paid for travel on Northwest and no elite earnings for any discounted fares. Continental, on the other hand, gives you 50% of the qualifying Elite miles for discounted fares and 100% when ticketing on www.continental.com.

Elite earnings for travel on Alaska and KLM currently remain the same and have not changed.
