Do you think the Vegas hotels just randomly add bogus charges to see if people will notice?
Frankly, I'm shocked. Two people were manning the spot I checked out at. One told me there were no charges and that I owed nothing. The other one was looking at the computer screen also and nodded affirmatively that this is true. I'm mostly irritated that I do not know what the charge is for. I called TI and they claim they can not look backward at my charges from the front desk - only accounting can. I'm sure talking to the TI accounting will be a pleasant experience.
I believe Vegas has taken a turn for the worse over time, as far general customer service goes. My dad says he was treated better when the mafia ran Vegas. Now a bunch of accountants run the place. And yes, I think some places throw fees and charges at you to see what they can get away with. However, I believe this is the exception, not the rule.
Trust me TI has taken a turn for the worse.
