If you mean elite blocking of E in a 2-3, B and E in a 3-3, or D and F in a 2-5-2, they stopped doing that quite a long time ago.

If you mean your inability to select bulkheads, it is like that for everyone, elites included. These are held back for airport assignment. They're usually for handicapped persons.

IMO, persons travelling with crying-age children should ride in the back, right next to the engines on the MD80s.
