I can't help thinking that Golds is now pretty easy to get and easy to keep. It seems odd that there is nothing higher to aim for, and no particular status that mere mortals can obtain.

I mean, a Eur-based Gold that scrapes together 800 points cannot be compared to one that racks up 5000+ TP's a year.

Having got up to 2800 TP's in 6 months, I don't see much point in getting past 3500 TP's to get the 2nd GU. Not if I can put some of the remainder of my travel into another FF scheme. This seems a bit odd to me.
