Why not go to food producers, and get them to come up with higher quality meals, which they get to plaster their logo all over, and sell them dirt cheap to AA? That's what they do with the inflight reading, as well as the IFE (where available). And, I think that the customers could benefit from the food advertising. There would be a real incentive for the producers to make something good- people buying it again, but AA could be paying even less for that than what they pay for that crap they serve us now.

Even CX does this with their J meals. They put a card with the advert (not necessarilly a food product) on the setup tray. We all know UA is getting at least free product from Star#uck's and Eclipse mints. My fear is most of the companies that would give away free product, may not necessarilly be any better than the standard fare (see Star#ucks).
