If so, I was on that flight as well! Decided that since I am being furloughed 10/31, I better use my passes before I lose them. Left on 10/27, came back on 10/29. Not a mile run, but a photo run!
But as to your original post, I have to say that I definitely DO NOT like the new setup. I feel that I did as much walking within the airport as I did within Paris itself, which was quite a bit!
Oh well.... after tomorrow, it is all a moot point!

We were on the same flight. Good seats, good food, fairly quick passage with a tailwind.
Sorry to hear about the furlough, and all the best to you. We all hope that NW can survive. I can only suppose that when the air clears there will be less capacity and much higher prices. I hope that in return we will get some of the feeling of excitement and luxury we used to have with air travel.
