Why doesn't AA use meals as a way to sell advertising?
It strikes me that everyone would win if AA used their meals, along with everything else they do, to advertise for third parties. Why not go to food producers, and get them to come up with higher quality meals, which they get to plaster their logo all over, and sell them dirt cheap to AA? That's what they do with the inflight reading, as well as the IFE (where available). And, I think that the customers could benefit from the food advertising. There would be a real incentive for the producers to make something good- people buying it again, but AA could be paying even less for that than what they pay for that crap they serve us now.
