I flew in from Cairo yesterday and I think I must have been subjected to a strange experiment.

The plane was a nice 777 that looked like it has had a re-furb recently (exceptthe seats).
Anyway - there were lots of nice new speakers on the ceiling & for some reason, from the moment we took off to the moment the plane hit the gate Classical Music was pumped through them.

It was honestly so loud that I could hear it through my headphones when watching the IFE (I have sound isolating ones!). I pity the fool who had to try and watch a film using the standard ones.

We had to wait about 15mins on the runway waiting for the gate to open up & the levels were the same & by that point I had a headache.
