I for one will wait until Vista is released to buy a replacement for my Dell 8100 and my notebook. Don't want to be holding an "older" hardware (read: incompatible) that forces Vista to operate in a reduced functionality mode.

The second beta release of Vista has been pushed back to mid-December and apparently will include the new Aero interface. My MSDN subscription gives me access to Vista and I plan to use that a lot more than the current release (which is slow as a snail, BTW).
