I just tried out NTC (F-GZCP) last week on a PHL-CDG trip and I will have to agree that the seats are not that comfy for a person 6'1".

The first impression you get when you walk on that plane and make that left turn is WOW!!!! The cabin looks spectacular and impressive... I was very excited for this flight! The little compartments for the amenity kit, water bottle, headphones and shoes were very nice touches. The AF pillow was the best J class pillow that I have used and the blanket was a decent weight also!

I must also say the AF service was very good, we had 2 meal services and 4 rounds of drink service for our 7 hr flight.

Yes I only spent about 8 total hours in this seat but that was all I needed to make MY opinion. I have flown CO BF (767), QF dreamtime J class and NW WBC and I was comparing NTC to those products.

The seat was not very comfy when I first sat down, it was pressing hard on the back of my legs. After take off I was tinkering around with the seat before the meal service started and found a cradle position that wasn't too bad but it seemed that the back was always a bit too low for my liking. (maybe I wasn't using the controls properly?? )

The flat out position in the seat would be nice if it had that foot rest on there but with out it you slide down like others have mentioned. I tried sleeping on my back, my side and even tried my stomach just to give all positions a shot.

So that is my $.02 opinion on NTC… it was only one trip so take it for what it’s worth!

OT: Does any plane at CDG ever unload at a gate or is every flight at a satellite parking stand??? I did manage to see the Concorde on display when driving towards terminal 1 on the way back home!
