I posted a while back about suggestions for Channai but things have changed a bit. We are going to be in India for 5 or 6 days in mid-December. What has changed is that we have decided to contract with a private tour company to take us around India for that time. So we are a not at all hesitant to go to more out of the way places that we probably wouldnt have tried on a short trip as first time visitors. What are the highlights in such a short trip that are dont miss. They customize the tours so we are mainly limited by time. Their suggestion was Delhi (briefly), Agra and Jaipur. Any thoughts like that or other suggestions of dont miss things? We would like to see the mountains but given the political situation and weather that time of year that might be implausible. Any thoughts and comments would be appreciated.
