I do also remember the line indicating that travel has to be booked through Ameniti, but such condition was not stated in the terms and condition on the letter I received. It only says that I have to be "active" Ameniti member during the time when flights takes place. Ameniti, however, posted double miles for all my June UA flights (some were purchased through orbitz.com that had a routing which combined UA, US, and AA). So, I don't know... but yes, if someone has something clear solution to this, let US know!
I would also like to know if anyone who are under this same promotion willing to co-sign a complaint letter that can be sent to Ameniti (i.e. group complaint letter) to have stronger voice on this issue. I personally think it is not fair for Ameniti to change the terms and conditions around without proper notice to its members/clients.
