Hey... it works for Walmart (self checkout registers), and the airlines have seen it work at check-in... why not during boarding too? They could lay off half the GA's if they'd just let pax scan their own bp's under the light on the way past. I mean, a trained monkey would do it. One beep? Climb aboard. Two beeps? Oops, stop and see the (lone) GA for assistance.
