So apparently, if I want to leave earlier tomorrow, if there is a seat available on a flight departing less than 3 hours before, I can confirm a seat on that flight in advance for $25.

My question is: once that's confirmed, can I apply it again for another $25 and get a confirmation on a new flight up to three hours before the earlier one?

Has anyone done this? It's worth another $25 not to spend a bunch of hours at DFW, even if I do get to wait in the Admirables Club. Incidentally, to AA, I currently just a general member, nobody special.
