On my Monday morning TED adventure from DEN-PHX, I was in row three. Imagine my surprise when the overhead bins above row 2 were open and empty! It seems that they are finally getting around to moving the A/V and emergency equipment out of the second set of bins and into the galley (old oven space). They also seem to have painted an orange stripe on the bottom of the bins, just below the bin door. Not sure what the tail number on the plane was. No other noticeable changes to the interior, but they did have brand new pillows/blankes/headphones on the plane.
