This happened some 5-6 years ago when I used to fly MH between LAX and SIN. At first, MH refused to deposit miles into my NWA mileage account (about certain MH Y classes being non-mileage eligible), but I still went to NWA office in SIN and gave them my boarding passes, and bingo my miles went in about 3 days later.
