Me again..............

We were able to book our flights this afternoon and I was happy to get a flight on SQ in C. Really looking forward to it now.

My question is: I read on FT that SQ´s website allows you to reserve your seat well in advance. Now that I booked the flight with my M&M miles via the Lufthansa service I wonder what opportunities I have to make a seat reservation. Do I have one at all or will I have to wait till I check in at the airport in March?

Also, as a non-regular flyer: whilst I will have a connecting flight into FRA from DUS my friend will come in from LHR. What´s the best way to make sure we get 2 seats together on our flights to SIN and AKL?
