Beat me to it! My thoughts, too. Maybe this is Doug's new way. Have a kiosk spit out the tickets & then it's a fiesta of upgrades! Someone will take command & hand out the tickets. This will save NW more money.
Just read an article about the oursourcing. It stated the Int'l FA's, Ground crews, & Pilots...Pilots???
Doug must have one heck of a kicker in his comp. package to be slashin' & burnin' so much.
I can see focusing on changing work rules as this increases producitivity. But to bring in new crews means the paying passenger suffers from bad service in the beginning.
