Unfortunately this has been the case in intra-European Economy on SK for almost a year. Only the most expensive Economy tickets (booking classes Y, S, and B intra-Europe) get you complimentary service.

Of course, you always have the choice of bringing your own (non-alcoholic) drinks and food with you to the plane.
