About a year ago I was impressed by the fact that GA's addressed me by name as they took my BP - accompanied by a welcoming smile.

This practice (at least in my case) seems to have disappeared lately and I wonder why. I haven't changing my dress code nor my own smile at the GA and wonder if this is just one more courtesty to SE's that is biting the dust. The airports I use most are YVR, YYZ, YUL, LAX, SEA, BWI and MCO.
