I talked to HP when I made the reservations, and they said they put me on the waitlist for first for my flight CMH-LAS this Thursday...

I checked online, and no mention of waitlist or seat change.. And the flight looked pretty good for upgrading (I'm GP w/ US). I called them, and they upgraded me over the phone... It seems the system to do it automatically might not be working as well.

So....CALL a few days before your upgrade window opens and make sure you are waitlisted, then CALL again during the upgrade window to get it confirmed. I'm not upset at it, as I can imagine it is a cluster for US/HP reps trying to do all this...
