You are right. AC does not really get it. There is so much they could do that does not cost money to tangibly show top tier flyers they care. But with AC it is just the opposite. I have actually had a GA look me in the eye and tell me: "Sir, being Elite is not relevent: we treat ALL our customers the same" (I was trying to ensure I would be priority waitlisted for a seat of ANY description on a flight that was overbooked and I was about to be IDBed). Her attitude said it all!
