Like I said, they base it on the published fare of what you are giving..... the lowest C fare to YVR from YUL is lets say a base of $2,800.00. You would redeem 40,000 AP miles and get back a tax recepit for $2,800.00.

The charities don't want the physical points, they want the rewards tickets.
