While I haven't flown this route nearly as many times as Jaimito Cartero, I agree that this is an easy flight. I've flown it more times in the back than up front , mostly because after signing up for this site, I did not read enough to do a MR back when even Silver was good enough for UGs on CO (thanks to DL's simplifies FC fares, not so anymore ).

That said, unless you are trying to impress, using miles to UG on this route is close to the worst per mile use of NonePass miles there is

Outside of coach flight on one of my domestic Aerolineas Argentinas flights, THE worst food I ever had on board was the First Class breakfast on SJO-IAH flights (I'm guessing I just got myself banned from the next CO Do) Taca, for all its faults, was head and shoulders above on the FC breakfast service (but you've gotta connect in SAL). Coach is another story, since they charge for food these days. OTOH, it's edible @:-)
