I had the same problem with that same flight cawhite60156, which was a disappointment after some excellent and prompt handling going to SIN and flights within Asia. Despite the red tag and pink F SQ tags, my luggage came out almost dead last.

With UA, it's been quite inconsistent with or without the red tag, not to mention on few occasions when they completely fail to load my luggage. But ever since I found FT, I've realized that most often there really is no need to check-in a luggage, so now I only do when I really, really have to. I have to say this works best and saves me unnecessary stress.
