The Skysaver increase appears to be unsubstantiated second hand info given to the OP by a travel agent. If you look on the second page another FTer checked with DL and was told Skysaver awards to Europe are still 90K next year. Did you confirm with DL?
Skychoice awards to Europe, however, are going up to 250K next year.
Yes, this is the post I referred to. Even if they don't increase the amount for Skysaver, they are making it virtually impossible to get a Skysaver seat forcing people to go to Skychoice. 250K for Europe is outlandish and unreasonable, and I doubt anyone would use this except the few wmillion milers who are trying to burn up their accounts and say sayonara to Delta.
I'll put my MR points into Continental or another airline in the future and have Am Ex pay an airline who is concerned about their customers.
