I know that in the overall scheme of points and miles, this topic couldn't be less important - but I am perplexed as to BA's color scheme for 1st class apparel. They make no effort to match the PJs color to the socks. Yesterday, I got brown socks and eye shields for the first time. Yet the pjs continue to be black.

In the past three years, I have gotten the following combos in chronological order:

gray pjs - blue socks

gray pjs - tan socks (moved to fabric Anya Hindmarch bag, which matched color of socks)

black pjs - gray socks

black pjs - brown socks

I don't get it! How hard is it to buy socks in the same color as the pjs? Or at least coordinate with them?

And yes, I am very grateful that full catering has returned to long haul flights so that I can ponder these minor issues.
