Passengers Who Make Five Inflight Calls One Month Receive Free Use of AT&T's Incoming Call Service the Next Month
January 13, 1999 6:07 PM EST

SEATTLE, Jan. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Beginning today, when passengers on Alaska, American, Canadian, Northwest and Southwest airlines make five or more inflight calls during any single month, the calls they receive the following month via AT&T's incoming call service are free. The promotion is ongoing, so every time a passenger makes five calls or more in one calendar month, they receive the next month's incoming calls free of charge.

All calls placed or received inflight at AT&T's regular rates qualify toward a passenger's five call goal. Passengers who reach the five-call minimum will not be billed for calls received on AT&T inflight phones during the month following their achievement. Callers must use one credit or calling card to make and receive all of the calls, so AT&T can track the number of calls made and not bill qualified customers for the free incoming calls. Passengers will not be notified when they achieve the five calls; however, they can dial *611 (toll free) from the plane to reach an AT&T Customer Care Representative to check their call status.

Free use of AT&T's inflight incoming call service applies only to calls made from the U.S. and Canada. For full instructions on how to place a call, receive a call, send a fax; or for information on rates, charges, terms, conditions or restrictions, access www.attws.com, or call AT&T Customer Care from the plane at *611 (toll free). Toll free and satellite calls, and corporate discounts do not qualify toward this promotion. This promotion can be modified or canceled at any time.
