Quick suggestion:
Use points.com to transfer your miles for free to your Dividend Miles account. The reasoning behind this is 2-fold:
1. You ensure all your HP miles move to your US Account
2. You establish a link between the 2 accounts that HP/US should be able to trace if necessary.

My 2 cents are combine the miles now and worry about combining EQM/EQS later.
