I think a legal connection requires 1 hour and 40 minutes T1 to T2 or T2 to T1. T1 to T1 i think is 1 hour.

here, and the minimum connecting time between the terminals is actually 1:50, but AA has published some exceptions for specific flight pairs with JL and JL codeshares allowing connections as low as 1:20.
