Well, Folks, thanks for the help!

According to this post http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showp...37&postcount=4 on the AA forum, I am going to book on Alaskaair.com, ask the AS CSR to put my AA number in the AA segments, and see what happens! It won't work the other way, so I might as well try it this way.
