Those kinds of entries happen when flights from the previous year get credited after your new membership year begins. The system adds tier points in the current year, and then another entry gets added to take them away since they belong to last year.

It's a bit confusing because BA only shows a single transaction date in your statement. The flights show in your statement with the date of the flights. The removal of the tier points shows with the date on which the flights were actually credited. So it can be tough to figure out how to match things up. But as long as you have the expected number of tier points for the current year, it's not a problem.
