While i'm not convinced that this forum adds much value (and indeed could be open to abuse by those who simply want to increment [pad] their posts in an incorporeal fashion) i do respect that minimal utility is of value to some.
Not a bad idea to lock down the other thread, although I don't think it would stay active with posts anyway now that The Lounge has opened.
Knowing many of the SQ Forum regulars as well as I do, I don't see any of them abusing The Lounge for post count padding purposes. Many of us have developed good friendships with each other and this will just be a fun place to further develop them and welcome others into the fold. Then again that's JMO and I'm not certain my pass to The Lounge doesn't have an unprinted expiry date of one week
