If you decide to go to Universal, I strongly recommend staying in one of their on-site hotels for no other reason than front-of-the-line access. There is a special line for their guests and you need to show your room key. This line gets you right on. The access is good until midnight of the day you check out.

We did this on Memorial Day weekend and were able to get on every single ride in Islands of Adventure in an afternoon.
