Now, back to the topic at hand, Rignall-- call back to CO, oftentimes you'll find a different story depending upon who you speak with. I assume you mean a direct on the return was due to your travel day. I know CO has added a couple of new EWR-HKG flights so check with them to see if they are now offering one on your travel day. Were the fares you saw on Orbitz on CO/NW metal? CO's EWR-HKG is great in BF especially since it is a non stop. Unfortunately with Jan travel so close, I'm afraid most of the cheaper fares on many airlines will have disappeared.
