So let me see if I have this straight. I need to accompany my disabled, elderly mom on a trip to an out-of-state medical facility. She's got an expired DL which I simply don't have the time to help her renew before the trip. I have ID, so that's no problem for me.

So long as Mom will submit to the SSSS treatment and permit her bags to be rifled, she can still fly with her expired DL? Do I have that right?
